Petroleum Ministry directs Dar Petroleum to increase oil production in Paloich oil field

The Ministry of Petroleum has directed Dar Petroleum Operating Company to increase oil production in Blocks 3 and 7 in the Paloch oil fields. The directive was announced by the Director General of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Authority, Engineer Lual Chol Dak, following discussions with Dar Petroleum, one of the country’s leading oil producers. Engineer Lual was accompanied by senior advisers and technical officials and delivered directives from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum, Chol Deng Thon Abel. The discussions involved the company’s senior management, led by Dr. Ling Zongfa, and focused on strengthening cooperation between the government and operating companies, as well as enhancing transparency and accountability in the sector. The visit forms part of the Ministry’s efforts to improve coordination and performance in the oil sector. Engineer Lual also emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving production targets and improving efficiency.
